Who speaks for small and medium-sized manufacturers among policymakers? Only NTMA. From state legislatures to federal agencies, from local authorities to the White House, the actions of those in the government can do a great deal to help, or hinder, one of America’s traditional economic strengths, manufacturing. NTMA fights for fair trade and sensible regulation, and against unfair competition and harmful elgislaiton. We help clear the confusion amongst the array of partisan politics.

Our members enjoy events & discussions that are led by industry experts and peers with information that can be implemented in your business right away. These events are lead to better bottom line increases. Additionally, NTMA’s workforce development initiatives are helping train and foster growth with employees and the future of manufacturing. Networking locally

Workforce Development

At the local level we are working to “Bridge the gap” between the Western Lake Erie NTMA membership , Industry and education. Our members work with Career Technology Education (CTE) programs and the like to help provide exposure to students to our trade through job shadowing , plant tours and internships. We take part in mock interviews and Advisory Boards providing valuable input and feedback.

Apprenticeship School

Our local school provides our members the related instructions that are required from most membership Journeyman programs. Not only this school been turning out Journeyman for 40 plus years it is taught by instructors in the trade with real world knowledge. As a member you can take advantage of the membership discounts that make our school the best value /education in the area.
